Operations with Real Numbers

Main Idea
Imaginary Numbers: Imaginary numbers are expressed with an "i" in them. Usually in the form of A+Bi.
Example: 7+8i is imaginary.

Real Numbers: Real numbers are numbers that can be rational or irrational, but not imaginary.
Example: 3, 1/3, -0.3304023

Rational Numbers: Rational numbers are numbers that can be expressed as finite decimals.
Example: 3/4, which is equal to 0.75.

Irrational Numbers: Irrational numbers are numbers that can be expressed as non-repeating, infinite decimals.
Example:Pi=3.14159 is ever ending so it is irrational.

Example Problems
Example 1:
3+4*i is an imaginary number in the normal form A+Bi

Example 2:
3 is a real number

Example 3:
9/10 is a rational number

Example 4:
e is an irrational number because it last forever without repeating
